What April reveals about Sri Lanka's visitor mix

April arrivals came in 22% below the same month last year. The drop wasn't spread evenly across countries. Here's what the SLTDA numbers show.

Does the pattern match how people fly here?

Change from April 2025. India and China have plenty of direct flights to Sri Lanka. The countries at the bottom have some direct options too, but most travelers from there fly through Gulf hubs (Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi).

How has the visitor mix changed?
